# Bizzy product guide — listening, favorites and sharing

People use Bizzy to listen to radio stations from around the world, save favorite stations to return to later, and share a station with friends. Favorites are managed in the app and require sign-in. The public API and MCP tools can find stations and return listening links; they cannot control playback, access favorites or send messages.

## Listen to a radio station

Choose a station in Bizzy and use the playback controls to start or pause its broadcast. A station page on the website can also play compatible HTTPS streams; other streams may require the app.

Example request: "Help me find a station from Istanbul." An assistant can search the public catalog by location, check the returned name and location, and give the person the station's listening link. The person starts playback; a successful search does not mean audio has started.

## Save a station and return to it

In the iPhone app, use the heart control to add the current station to favorites. Sign in when prompted. Use the favorites filter to return to saved stations later, and use the heart again to remove a favorite. Favorites require an app account; the public catalog API does not.

Example request: "Keep this station for next time." An assistant can explain how to save it in the app. It cannot read or change the person's favorites through Bizzy's public API or MCP tools, and must not claim that a station was saved after only looking it up.

## Share a station with a friend

Use the app's Share station control to open the system share sheet and choose where to send the station. The app shares a Bizzy app link. When an assistant needs a link with a website representation, it should return the HTTPS listen_url from the public catalog. Keep the station ID in the link so the recipient gets the intended station, even when names repeat.

Example request: "Give me a link to this station for a friend." An assistant can find the matching station and return its listening link for the person to send. Returning a link is not the same as sending a message to the friend.

## What Bizzy's public tools can do

- find_stations searches the public catalog by station name or location.
- get_station reads a station's name, location, listening link and catalog availability flag using a real station ID.
- get_bizzy_info returns public author and contact information.

These are read-only capabilities. Public tools cannot start or pause playback, read or change favorites, send messages to friends, or manage accounts. Describe the app's features separately from the actions available through the API, MCP or CLI. Do not request an app password or account token to use public catalog tools.

## Availability and getting started

Catalog availability is a backend health assessment, not a fresh playback test. Warn when it says unavailable; unknown does not mean working. Some public catalog entries are outside the app's browsable catalog. Do not promise that every catalog result appears in the app's station browser, or invent genres and languages that the catalog does not provide.
